..just grateful for the draws by Fulham and Bleuskis ... if disappointed ...grateful for Fulham's resilience ...

the Indie today asserts that the Blueskis are being hyper punctilious in raising the issue of what the ref said with thFA cos that is what the rules say they must do, they are truly scarred and scared by the Terry affair and very wary of the involvement of m'learned friends ..etc ...[mikel has rights as an employee that impose duties on the club and he is claiming the word was said etc ]

Not too chuffed about having to look out for Manyoo's results but otherwise yes.

Creditable point for Newcastle at Liverpool today.
The QPR v Reading draw not much use to Southampton though

probably ok. Not really looking at this stage....we just need to pick up some points. Shame that Stockports dreams of what used to be the twin towers , or even a big payday just up the road, are over for the season.
S'pose the playoffs are still a possibilty .

got to decide whether it's worth driving into town to a pub showing the game. ...internet streams v poor at the moment..think it will be a "Blue Monday..." and no New Order !
Got the last 4 Rubbra symphonies still to work through, so that might help the day along.
Anyway, we might win I suppose !!

11/4 the draw looks the value bet to me ...

Wonder how nervous the players get for a match like this ??

I like the look of 18/1 Saints to nick it 1-0 (Victor chandler)

well all the form points to us conceding, so if you fancy us to pick up an unlikely win , 2-1 (16/1) or 3-1 (50/1) are on offer.
We had rather a habit of winning 3-1 in L1, so I think that the 50/1 looks a nice price. I like a big odds sporting bet !

Our players look as nervous as kittens at a rather loud and unruly nervous kittens convention at the moment. So the answer to Alisons question is probably "Very" in this instance.
Nige must be getting nervous... possibly facing the prospect of being jobless with just a huge redundancy cheque to console him...

Saints must be due a clean sheet then TS.

The cup draw has thrown up the possibility of a Wimbledon at plastic dons tie.

.............And now for some news from up top:

York City forward Michael Coulson has been ruled out for the rest of the season after scans showed he will need surgery on a cruciate ligament injury. The 24-year-old, who joined the Minstermen from Grimsby in the summer, had scored four goals in 14 league appearances so far this campaign. York boss Gary Mills told the BBC: "It's bad news for Michael and very bad news for us".

Following a good start on their return to League 2, City suffered from a few jitters and began to tumble down the table. However, they are now back up to a well-deserved and impressive 10th place. Most recently, although they created many chances, they were unable to overcome AFC Wimbledon to book a place in the FA Cup second round. That one will now be decided by a replay.
