Unlkely that any one here will be interested but below is my analysis of potential successors which I posted on our Holmesdale messageboard:
Rather not:
Ian Dowie
Mick McCarthy
Attilio Lombardo
George Burley
Glen Hoddle
Edgar Davids
Steve Claridge
Steve Bruce
Neil Warnock
Mad Dog Allen
Ron Atkinson
Sean Dyche (Who he?)
Anyone Scottish
Interesting choices:
Owen Coyle
Paolo di Canio (to annoy Swindonians)
Aki Riihilahti
Roy Keane
Harry Redknapp
Who has Palace credentials?
Sir Steve Coppell
Gareth Southgate
Alan Pardew (we can buy him out)
Chris Coleman
Ian Wright

At least it would be a good use for a spreadsheet for once !
(perhaps Gurney can keep us up to date with the more interesting stuff going on at Selhurst, like developments in the pre match and HT entertainment.)I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

Sorry as I feel for Palace and Rangers supporters.....
In April 1962 I was one of 28,932 fans who packed Portman Road to see Ipswich Town beat Aston Villa 2-0 and win the 'old' Division 1 title. The Tractor Boys, and their long-suffering fans, have now endured their longest-ever run of home defeats. Although I moved from Ipswich many years ago, I still take an interest in the club's fortunes - I dunno what's gone wrong, but it's sure going to take some fixing.
