York City away was always a good day out I seem to remember.
sorry to see that it all ended in tears ER.
still, you live to fight another day, at least.

you could always adopt the super Saints as your pet southern NPC team !!

Good luck in the conference...keep the seat warm for pompey..you may well pass them on your way back up.

Odd to see Uchida playing in Manchester tonight, though scarecly a commanding performance.

Perhaps she plays Beethoven and Schubert a bit better than right back for Schalke?

...meanwhile in the Europa League the semis are tonight with Portuguese teams making the running; the first round 5 - 1 by Porto was a great game

Porto Villareal on itv4 and SC Braga Benefica on 5 tonight ....

well done , a very deserved championship for Queens Park Rangers!

the relegation dogfights are now on in earnest in Leagues 1 & 2 ... nothing against Lincoln but my tribal sympathies lie with the Underhill mob and a couple of Loewnbrau at the Red Lion ....

...meanwhile in the PL it is still open .... some nail biting this weekend!

With a few minutes to go Lincoln are 2-0 down and Barnet 1-0 up

I was driving through Stockport yesterday afternoon and saw some Stockport County supporters making their way to Edgeley Park. I then realised they were going to their last game in the Football League. A very sad day.

.... if the BLEUS lose today my misery will be complete ..... and whilst i am pleased for Barnet, both Stockport and Lincoln must be grieving ...

Never a fan of London clubs, I nevertheless hope that AFC Wimbledon make it into the Football League, and ultimately make it to the same division as MK Dons and trounce the carpetbagging opportunists.

                          Wolves 3, West Brom 1

Just shows how compassionate we Baggies can be towards our fellow Midlanders!

I went to a number of matches in AFC's first couple of seasons, circumstances have prevented it since then.

But it would be a marvellous story to find the two teams in the same division.

                            Go AFC!!!

                            Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

especially since it started as a collective supporters effort ... is it still?

Look at how Accrington Stanley had recovered from near oblivion to a not so bad league status now?
