Too easy for Germany, talk about one-sided
I give up, what does Samaras do ?
Samaras....slightly more than the even worse subs .... is my best guess.
he isn't too great......but I can see him getting on the end of a cross in the second half !!

Big Sammy is on his hols, he's had a hard season with Celtic.
This guy has to be in the mood, and, if he is, he can virtually win a game on his own in any company ... trouble is, as Celtic fans know only too well, he's rarely in the mood.

Portugal (Ronaldo) and Germany (11 plus players who are preparing effectively for 2014) are through. The good teams are winning. Not one in this competition is brilliant, enjoyable though it is.
It seems daft to take on the entire media tonight. That doesn't necessarily stop me. We heard that in the first half the Greeks were too defensive - they will have to go forward eg Samaras - and disorganised in defence. Meanwhile Germany were fantastic throughout that half, as eventually proven by the goal.
Well, we got to see in the second half why the Greeks had been so cautious. It made sense. And they couldn't have been that chronic for 40 minutes unless the Germans had not been fantastic but rather poor at the final shot on goal. Which they were.
This is not to deny the chasm between the two sides in terms of quality. That became obvious when the Greeks equalised and then failed to defend as in the first half or, preferably, better. But as the brilliance of Ozil was commented on for the fifth time in ten minutes - I counted - and it was collectively concluded in summary that the German team was 'frightening'.
.....I can see the point but I'm not going with it with completely. I doubt that the Germans would cave in ahead of a match that might not actually take place, even in a television studio.
It's claimed some German supporters chanted at the Greek supporters 'we paid for your tickets' (presumably in German: it's also claimed the TV companies were told to keep crowd levels as low as possible so any booing of Merkel wouldn't come across). The chanting perhaps a 'humorous' Bild inspired initiative ....
If it would only stop raining I'd concentrate on cricket & ignore this parochial little tournament.
Spain v France first ....the current view is that ticky tacky Spain are boring ...after the German performance last night inclined to agree that they are the most attractive so far ....
According to the best estimates of astronomers there are at least one hundred billion galaxies in the observable universe.
