i'm off for a few weeks completely unstructured holiday
swimming in French rivers , eating EU subsidised cheese and having wine at lunchtime before falling asleep under a tree....

It will take me a couple of days
i've not listened to any music for the last three weeks
(but did make some rather interesting insect recordings in the South Of France)

Bin to the lakes for a few days. Broke the rules by listening to RVW, Rubbra etc on Headphones in exquisite places.

Well it's OK to listen to John Ireland's exquisite piano piece "Amberley Wild Brooks" while parked up next to Amberley Wild Brooks, and possibly OK to listen to "On Wenlock Edge" sitting with legs dangled over the limestone scarp edge of that Shropshire range of hills; but only possibly, given that Vaughan Williams had never actually visited there when he composed his song cycle. But I think you've broken the rules, teamy.
