        ...and if you don't divide by 0.22 you have the miles per litre - so if I multiply the mpg figure on my gauge by .22 I have the mpl.

          For a consistent bloke, I'm very inconsistent with this. I have my car temperature gauge set to Celsius in winter, and then Fahrenheit in summer. I get a better idea of the relative temperature in that way.
