    Thanks guys.
Well I can now get through the whole piece without a wrong note, but painfully slowly, and there's a pause when I turn the page,it's as if the prelude is in 2 movements.
Need to get up to the correct tempo now.
Good thing is using headphone no one hears the damage I'm doing to the music, not that anyone in the house would know.
Next month I am going to learn a second piece the Alkan project might take longer than planned

Wish I could upload a photo of our new bookcase, which is now well filled with CDs!. We are very limited for space, in our two bedroomed flat. So now I will be looking at downloads, unless we can move to bigger premises?!?!?

Well foljks, I went to see the doc today, and I have more less been given the news that I am now in remission! There is one fly in the ointment though! Grr! I do seem to have developed some paraproteins, which I didn't want to here. But thankfully they are quite negligible at the moment, so not going to be treated at this stage. They will however keep a close eye on me. They also want me to carry on with having regular treatment to make sure my bones ae strengthened. Also I have a wedge fracture in two of the discs in my spine and have been referred to the relevant surgeon to have the op. So overall I'm rather happy!

Well my heartiest congrats, Bbm! I must say, you've borne up remarkably well under the circs. I had to look up "paraproteins" btw and having read up a bit on myeloma I now see that they are connected with what you've been going through.

Indeed they are SA.I know of someone who had Multiple Myolema with kappa Lights Chains, is the official title. Now someone else I know of in the Facebook Group, said he had Paraproteins Myolema and now he has the one I had!

Excellent news of your progress, Bbm - a convivial to further improvement. The vertebrae concerned wouldn't be T10 and/or T12, would they? The op will save you a lot of trouble and discomfort in the future, so I hope it'll happen very soon. (Gently, now - I won't squeeze! )
