Update, I’m back! I am recovering from sepsis of all things. The staff were absolutely fantastic. High praise to them. I’m not back on form just yet though.

I was rushed in so there was no time for anything else.

Sorry—as you see he is back. His wife had posted some updates but I couldn’t tell initially if he was getting out of the woods and decided to wait; then I got a bit caught up in the Civil unrest here that impacted my life over the last week

My goodness BBM - thank goodness for modern medicine eh? The condition is now high profile so catching it in time is much more likely but it's still not something to take lightly. You are sensible so will take things easy to allow your body to get over the assault. My thoughts are also with Mrs BBM, being the one 'on the outside' watching and waiting isn't easy, and also takes it out of a person.

I was in isolation for a chest infection with sepsis last year - 5 weeks and a temp of over 40°. Everyone told me how ill I was but I don't remember.
It leaves you very weak, don't try to do too much! Best wishes.
