Hi RFG. ah right thanks! It seems one thing after another with me, since my SCT and chemo that I had before! Plus the regular chemo I had before my SCT.
The best thing is that you are here to complain about it!

Indeed! Well, I'm not complaining per se, although it may sound like that, it just seems that after the heavy duty chemo I had before the SCT, everything seems to be happening since then.
SA, what a traumatic day you had! hope you were ok though?

Yes thanks, Bbm, though that sort of day tends to knock me out for a while, these days! On checking the bike this morning, the front tyre was found to be flat, so I would have quickly found out it wold have been impossible to carry on with my journey! When I first came here to live, I only had one puncture in 3 years, and was delighted to find how clean London's roads are kept, compared with where I'd lived before; this year I've already had 5 punctures, and am thinking it's time to quit cycling in winter; for one thing the wet state of the roads makes it impossible to see what's hidden - not just hidden debris that can cause this, but potholes, of which new ones appear unexpectedly all the time because of the lack of road care.
My turn to commiserate with you over your health problems, Bbm. A friend of mine - an elderly lady of 84 - is urging me at all costs to avoid being put on Warfarin, since when she has had problem after problem!

Thanks SA! Ah yes! My late father was on Warfarin. had to have it adjusted quite regularly!

Off to see my haematologist today for my regular check up. Every eight weeks. Went out for lunch yesterday and met up with a former colleague from Ardingly College!

Thanks Ferney! They certainly have. That’s another thing I can tick off. Just have to wIt now for CT Scan results, heart and b/p monitoring and a pacemaker fitted.

I can only agree with Lat Literal, above, that you show remarkable forbearance, given all your health problems, Bbm.
On a different topic, I wonder whether other people have been to college reunions this year?
I am just waking up in a sixties brutalist student cell on the Woodstock Road and thoroughly enjoying the experience.
Very interesting sisterhood.
There was no brotherhood at the fascist boarding school I attended between 1955-64; one friend I contacted a couple of years ago told me he wouldn't attend any reunion for all the tea in China, and he still had recurring nightmares.
My primary and middle schools were fine and I might be persuaded to go to a reunion, if I still lived in the same area. Incidentally, I did actually go to one at my primary school when my headmaster retired and it was very strange to be back in the hall again after about 15 years. My sister and brother also attended the same school and they came too.
Nothing on the planet would convince me to attend a reunion at my senior school.
