I do seem to have developed some paraproteins, which I didn't want to here. But thankfully they are quite negligible at the moment, so not going to be treated at this stage. They will however keep a close eye on me. They also want me to carry on with having regular treatment to make sure my bones ae strengthened. Also I have a wedge fracture in two of the discs in my spine and have been referred to the relevant surgeon to have the op. So overall I'm rather happy!
Great news. I expect you have a lot to catch up and keep up with but I hope you’ll have time to listen to those early sonatas.

Seriously positive news, 'maestro, delighted to hear it. Occupational physio on the arm presumably prescribed on an ongoing basis?

Thank you everybody. Certainly been a journey! I'll be off work still due to my wedge fracture. Awaiting to see surgeon to have a look.

Cali, indeed, my right arm is in need of great excersing! With company of course! (Hint!)

Will this do instead of Sid James?

But can we find any more?

Loved seeing for the first time this map that Elgar drew and watercoloured (in 1921, in his late 60s, inc. self-portrait in snazzy blue hat with Meg the dog) for WH Reed so he could find his way to Elgar's second home, Brinkwells in West Sussex

This is the location using current technology:

The house still stands, and is Grade II listed

Is that a little break or a trip to the little boys' room?

PS: This 'man in York' is good at proofreading too, which is why the [a] got added in what I quoted.
