Not merely told off, but they were banned. And they were apparently part of his strategy for holding on to the Wimbledon surface.

      And now he's out ...
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

I use the subtitles and wish Ihad noted some ofthe ludicrous things they print, usually corrected quickly but quite garbled rubbish at first. Arethey done by Martians?

Nah - like everything else, it's just a cover up.

I take it your librarian duties are not undertaken at a medical school?

An NHS library, yes, but no a medical one. So anatomical knowledge wasn't essential . And when I took exercise it was never strenuous enough to damage anything.

Of course, I should have known where ham strings are - they're usually tied round the narrow end of the ham to hang it from the ceiling

Perhaps you should use a or a next time you're trying to be ironic

If you need the help of a smiley to realise that the original post was ironic, then you MUST be American.

Well done to Laura Robson today, through to the last 16 for the first time!
