It's past Midsummer now - the nights are setting in!
It's all downhill now!

No pessimism from me. I delayed my trip west for four days, due to the inclement weather. Arrived on the beach just an hour ago. Barely managed to pitch the tent before it got too dark (glorious near-full moon notwithstanding). Next to no breeze as the direction of the wind is from over the cliffs behind me. Crossed fingers for a largely clear sunrise.

Bryn. To 'get back to nature' completely, you need to bin that gadget from which you are posting! (It's quite something to get a signal under a cliff in Devon.) Anyway, it looks as if you might have a few good-weather days. Wednesday seems best on the West Country forecast...but they're often wrong.
