It's been a long while since we heard from our friend Marthe in the States. I've been thinking of her in the present qrctic conditions they're experiencing over there right now.
It's also been a long while since we heard anything from Greenilex and Stillhomewardbound. Has anyone got any news of them?

Zucchini, I do not know at all why that is there. The only thing I can think of is, looking at the keyboard, I meant to have used the button on the left of the question mark. The full stop!Don’t cry for me

Greenilex was on the forum in mid October and Stillhomewardbound visited on 7th December .
It was a shame Roehre left after an argument I wish he would come back . The most baffling disappearance remains that of amateur 51 who was last seen on Christmas Eve 2014 - someone did manage to contact him by e-mail and he apparently had router problems or the like was I recall but he has disappeared for good after having been one of the most frequent posters of all.

The resurrection of old threads does have the effect of one noting the names of the disappeared as one scrolls down. It was rather poignant a while back to have an old thread brought back which included posts from both the late Chris Newman and Salymap.
But, as FF has pointed out, people leave for all sorts of reasons. Just lately, I've found the Forum eating into my listening and reading time and, as I'm still in full-time work, I've been considering sharply cutting back particularly as the time just isn't there for me to make considered posts. End of night postings, tired out after a busy day in the office can lead to some sloppy wording, poor research and ruffled feathers so I'm still considering a New Year resolution to scale down.
Then Beefy starts a thread on Bruckner 6..."The sound is the handwriting of the conductor" - Bernard Haitink

I’d say no need to make a ‘big’ decision, just post as and when you can.
I’ve noticed Beefy disappears for a while and I probably do myself!

A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.
