...They state there is a 65% chance that I will still be able to travel to the UK in early July. I plan to be a good boy and do exactly as told to maximize the chances.
And I'll give you 100% that there's a glass or three with your name on it in one of the real corner pubs in the UK (I'll give you a story or two and a fight as well, if you insist! )
Suppressing for the moment my lawyer's inclination to enquire why on earth your GP was reluctant I too send further best wishes. In the words of the old saying:
Lie back and think of England!"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

I just returned home from my angiogram. The news wasn't the greatest. Despite the fact that I exercise at least 1.5 hours/day, I have 4 blocked arteries, two of which are 99%. I am having open heart surgery in about 36 hours . On the plus side my heart is normal and will hopefully remain so.
RT, I downloaded the Navarro book. Bryn, trust me ,I have stopped treating myself; at least I recognized the symptoms and pushed my GP for a stress test that he was reluctant to order.
THey state there is a 65% chance that I will still be able to travel to the UK in early July. I plan to be a good boy and do exactly as told to maximize the chances.

To anyone who has been directly in touch with salymap by email, I have today received an email headed in capitals "from Pam Snell", on clicking which linked me to some dodgy-looking website which I was dim-witted enough to bring to my screen, but not follow up from clicking anywhere on its actual homepage. So hopefully I have not incurred a computer virus. It nevertheless shows how careful one has to be - so, folks, be warned!
