Sorry to hear that I am glad salymap that you were able to come home promptly this time. saly, we seem to be in this together. Having had a bad fall & in a condition of great pain, I received the usual comment from a GP that they do not provide an X -ray for this condition. So, I presented myself to local hospital for my 3 weekly 2 pint blood ration whilst writhing about in great agony. Immediately off to X-ray dept. after physical examination by my haematology consultant who detected broken ribs & damage to the spine. However, I now have to wait two weeks for an analysis & statement from X-ray to be sent to my GP ! Meanwhile am provided with bottle of liquid morphine from hospital. Great ! no more pain. Instead, am falling about not knowing who I am, where I am or what's going on. No more thank you - back to wishy - washy paracetamol again for me. No one seems to get anything right these days - have asked for my replacement blood to come from a Spanish bullfighter or someone of similar disposition - so I can fight back. No way ! I believe mine's from a clerk in Surbiton. However, mustn't complain, someone has been kind enough to provide. Enough moaning from me.
