They do say that moving house is one of the most stressful experiences people have ... [Dunno about that]

    Anyway Welcome back!
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

I second both of these statements. Delighted to see bbm back, and speaking as one who has lived in fifteen houses, I can confirm that moving is quite stressful.

(i should make plain that moonlight or keeping away from the bailiffs had nothing to do with any of these moves)

welcome back BBM, glad you are sorted out now.

quite why or how it takes SO long to get broadband sorted in this day and age is mystery indeed.

                    Thrive?

The receivers took them into administration towards the end of last year and they are only just about viable at the minute (including taking measures to ruin the pensions of their loyal employees in order to prop-up their future financial viability).

Sad news - they still know how to move things properly according to a friend of mine whose piano they took to Spain.

But they don't thrive and they have shafted their long-standing staff on the pensions front.

Sadly that appears to be all too common nowadays .

Yes, you're right. The human impact is enormous. Scores of thousands of people with lowered retirement income, for many years to come. It makes me very sad and very angry.
