      I wish Thropplenoggin would come back. Think he left in a bit of a huff over something but he started some interesting threads and had a good sense of humour.

                Very sorry to hear about your further medical tribulations, gamba but very pleased to hear that you're out of the woods - chicken soup for you, I think

                Post the Jonah story etc as and when you're ready - I and others will look forward to it

                  Lovely to hear from you gamba. Sorry about the long stay in hospital and look forward to the next gamba-saga when you are fully recovered.

                    Life is a bit of a gamba - not the baroque musical instrument, but what Bristolians often put an L on the end of.

                        Indeed; and I hope gamba is back gambolling among the Forum again soon. (The Hawker Hunter trailer sounds a lot more enthralling than those for the Beeb's "Autumn of Drama"!)
