I'm truly touched by the messages above... thankyou ts, ams, fhg, Bbm and Petrushka. I have been keeping up with threads but my own health (and medication - cure worse than disease etc.), and Mum needing more care these days, tends to limit time and energy. I tend not to log out when I'm not here which may cause some confusion...!

So we've kept even weirder hours than usual recently, I tend to see the dawn in before bed; so listening is - quartets at four, symphonies at seven etc. (AM). Not many Proms... but some better programmes on the way to draw me back, if I can just grab a kip before 19:30...

Thanks for remembering me. More activity soon I hope...

Anyone heard from Amateur 51 recently? No activity since 26/08/13.... I PM'd him but got no reply... hope he's just taking a break, feeling as bruised by his gay and human rights battles as I am... just a bit worried though, he wasn't very well and had had battles with Atos etc...(though happily resolved in his favour).

No worries Jayne, he mentioned that he's toddled down to the south of France - as one does! - to stay with friends for 10 days or so I think. He was heading off to St Pancras to get the train south on Monday shortly after I got a quick PM from him, if I remember rightly

That's right. He'll be back on Wednesday next and, my guess, telling us all about it next day.
