Great fortitude on your part, Maestro. So sorry to hear it was necessary to call upon it just before all the celebrations. Good to hear you feel you're on the mend now
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

What bad luck, BB. Best to look to the future; best wishes for a full recovery.

You will have been stirred by a superb B&HA win I trust BBM.

And that new Malcolm Arnold CD looks a belter.

Unlucky you. Still, at least you did not need the Police to break open your front door for the paramedics to get to you (http://www.for3.org/forums/showthrea...405#post479405). Hoping you do not experience extended resulting problems with your already somewhat limited mobility.

                      God speed your recovery Bbm...

I had to call an ambo around 0500 in November.... it came within 15 minutes.... I (literally) crawled to the door to wrestle it open. When we got to A&E around 0600, there were three people waiting in the wide open spaces......

Scanned and examined swiftly, back in the Obs Ward for the second time in a month (own room, en suite bathroom, cushy....perk of no other beds available...) a nurse told me that by 1500, A&E had been temporarily closed for overcrowding....for the second day running....

I won't be alone in welcoming you back to the forum after having gone through such bad patches during the past year, jayne. Fervent wishes for your healing and hopefully a return to strength in 2023.

Many thanks, one and all. Still hanging on in there. The NHS staff were brilliant, couldn’t praise them highly enough.

My mother in law had to wait 8 hours in A&E to have her broken wrist set in a cast.
