I had a PM from him only the other week kindly directing me to a copy of the Mozart Sinfonia Concertante recording with Monica Huggett.

I suppose some explanation is in order.
It started with losing my password last December. Initial attempts at reclamation failed. Then, a run of misfortune, which decreased my desire to interact and get into stupid meaningless spats happened. First, I had Omicron. Then, two close relatives under the age of 30 died in close succession, with resultant significant grieving and family commitments. I fell on the ice and injured my back and am in terrible pain and will spare the details. , another family crisis involving my 93 year old mother and dementia. Finally, I have been diagnosed with Kidney Cancer and beginning the staging for that.
I’ve looked at the Forum a few times, been motivated a few times to get involved, but basically not in a frame of mind for Civil Discourse. It, ahem, also seems a little quiet lately…

Very sorry to hear of your run of misfortune, Richard. Wishing you well for the future.

It never rains but it pours, right?

Richard, you and I have never liaised directly. Nevertheless, it saddens me to hear of your misfortune. I’m not going to try and be clever by using words as some sort of palliative for your current challenges, except to wish you the very best of luck and strength and fortitude.

                          Best wishes,

                          Mario

I can only echo Bryn's quote, Richard. All the very best and, yes, do come back if or when you feel you want to.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.
