It would be close to impossible not to have heard, even if unknowingly, some Prince songs, I should think

None of those ring a bell ? Many of them were fit for daytime , non adult radio....lifts..... supermarket muzak....

Not that I am saying that is all his music is good for, of course......

Well I have at least heard of Prince(before all this kerfuffle), but that list would definitely be unknowingly heard - and I can never make out the lyrics of such things anyway.

I haven't been prevented from posting for particularly long, but it has felt longer than it actually has been.

I too hope Jayne returns. As I've made it clear, I was not offended in any way by the Prince lyrics she posted, nor did I find them to be pornographic etc. But then again, I am a fan of transgressive literature by people like J.G. Ballard and Will Self. Prince is quite tame by comparison!

I once met Prince at a Yoga class in North London - 1980's.

Without makeup he seemed a perfectly natural chap, at least by the standards of Yoga devotees. We didn't ask him to perform.....

Probably just as well, if his stage show was anything to go by !!
