Phew, there's more to this than that of which I was aware, were I to be so enlightened (this is R3 after all, wouldnt want to accept a pre-determined construct, upset a conditional, or split an infinitive. The last of which, I'm told, it is quite difficult to find an example, let alone defile it ... [Churchillian accent: "This is the kind of arrant pedantry up with which I will not put".]). Thanks FF, its all a bit new, but I note duly and will investigate ... when I am more sober. I hadnt previously noted the existence of this newsletter.

... well, I thought I was a FoR3 supporter - I certainly applied so to be - and I see my name is indeed on the list of supporters - but I ain't never received no newsletter... do I have to press any buttons to be on the distribution list?

Coo-er. Well, you certainly are a supporter.

By 'newsletter', I mean that scrappy email I send out from time to time ('bout every 2 months). If you haven't been getting that I will request an explanation from the mailing department. But I've promised not to bother him over the weekends as he is involved with something else so it will have to wait until Monday

          And Simon, too.
Thanks for the enquiry Doversoul. Alas, progress is slower than anticipated but I am still very much in touch with the Forum and broadcasts which keep me alive!

Greetings, everyone -- just been really, really busy, with (as well as music) a bereavement and other stuff in the family and (so my better half informed me) something had to give!

I'll try to reintegrate myself as soon as possible.

Well, it was good to catch sight of IRF today, or Ignorant Rock Fan, as he was on the old boards.

I have been thinking exactly that for the last few days and was about to look for the thread. And Darling Tripod. He hadn’t been well when he last posted.

Morning Doversoul and everyonme who wrote on this. I've sent a PM to Daring Tripod on behalf of us all, as I believe he is a local man and will let you know if he replies.

Meant to say - he looked in about a fortnight ago, so I hope all is well. But he did get rather upset about the lack of comment on the live concerts, didn't he?
