Thanks for the contributions so far, Richard - and here's to many more! All the very best - ff

Best wishes from me, Richard. If you find yourself having to take things easy for a while, I've finally finished "Tell me who I am" by Julia Navarro (see my last PM) and can recommend it - 1190 pages!

Very best wishes, Richard. Lots of us on here will be sending good 'vibes' and thinking of you.
Looking forward to reading your postings again, soon.
              Get well very, very soon.

Best of luck, rfg. If it's any consolation I had my similar-sounding symptoms and flunked the test in 1995; had the angiogram and the angioplasty and have not had any trouble since.

Nothing from that prolific poster edashtav since early in March.
He's not answering his emails either.

                  Does anybody have any news?

He was posting on Facebook a month after that.

I've been away from the Forum for a while, so have only just seen your posts about my father (Chris Newman), but I'd like to thank you all for your very kind words about him. He loved talking to you all on here, and it's nice to think that his contribution to the conversations is still remembered.

I appreciate all of the expressions for good wishes. This Forum has become a bit of a a virtual corner pub where friends meet, share stories, occassionally fight

I just returned home from my angiogram. The news wasn't the greatest. Despite the fact that I exercise at least 1.5 hours/day, I have 4 blocked arteries, two of which are 99%. I am having open heart surgery in about 36 hours . On the plus side my heart is normal and will hopefully remain so.
RT, I downloaded the Navarro book. Bryn, trust me ,I have stopped treating myself; at least I recognized the symptoms and pushed my GP for a stress test that he was reluctant to order.
THey state there is a 65% chance that I will still be able to travel to the UK in early July. I plan to be a good boy and do exactly as told to maximize the chances.

Oh, very much so, Becca - his wise, gentle and enthusiastic comments are still deeply missed here. Very best wishes to you and the family.
