I know some of us read a blog called The Music Parlour by TinEar. He reports that he has suffered a stroke and is in hospital, If you do know him, or of him, I am sure he would be grateful for a supportive word on the blogsite.

Are we losing members?
The regular contributors are mostly still there and there is a fairly healthy report of new members, but is the actual membership decreasing?
Not much music to talk about, I agree, but it seems that the "Round Ball Game" is receiving more input than those threads which are concerned with musical matters.
As might be expected at this time of year, there have been many sad obituaries and I, personally, must add my own sorrow on learning of the death of my friend and former colleague Peter Katin.
I am much indebted to my friend Ed (edashtav) for conveying various snippets of information to this forum on my behalf and I will hope to start making some meaningful contributions to the forum when I find it appropriate to do so.
Meanwhile, I shall maintain a watching brief.
Happy Easter to you all.

Yes sad to see them disappear from the forum . Salymap was not in good health when her cousin last posted and ams disappeared rather abruptly at Christmas . There was some news of him including computer problems and that he was taking a break from the forum but concerning that he has not replied to flosshilde .
