    Still no sir Velo ?

Bert Coules is much missed: Absolutely spot on with his dismissal of Barenboim's Wagner conducting IMHO!

You’ve been away for a long time. I hope you are just busy with the usual this-and-thats of daily life.
I'm very glad that now you are an ex-AFs & MPs. Keep posting.

        All the best
Dover S. Sorry to have been absent for so long. It has, indeed, been a case of being busy with the usual which has involved builders etc. Back on track, as they say, and wishing everyone a Happy, Merry Christmas. All the best, marthe

No sign of Am 51 since Christmas Eve ( last activity recorded but last post was 22/12 ) - a long break from one of the most regular of posters ? Hope he is OK.

Before his departure, he did mention he was off on holiday, so I trust that there is nothing untoward and he'll be returning soon.

                Where haveI I been ?

Am now recovering. Two months in hospital. Unconcious for a full week. No one knowing what is wrong with me.
My wonderful sons attend from around the world & press little digital devices against my ears, happily loaded with Bach & Beethoven. Alas, all to no avail. I hear nothing, no reaction. , Am now learning to walk again.. Look forward to joining you all again. Have no memory of what happened. The nurses &. I became family. We clutched each other & cried a lot.

I hope all is well with the rest of you, especially our ' nearest & dearest '. You know who I mean !

Hope to be in touch again soon, yours, gambas

Oh, gamba - so good to hear from you, but so sad to hear the news of your latest health difficulties. My very best wishes for a quick return to a more comfortable and less distressing lifestyle.

Wow! what an 'adventure' if I can put it like that...... a veritable mystery. Hope you get back to your favourite tunes again, and that all will be well for a glorious recovery. Take care. Looking forward to your postings popping up again on here.
