Phew, there's more to this than that of which I was aware, were I to be so enlightened (this is R3 after all, wouldnt want to accept a pre-determined construct, upset a conditional, or split an infinitive. The last of which, I'm told, it is quite difficult to find an example, let alone defile it ... [Churchillian accent: "This is the kind of arrant pedantry up with which I will not put".]). Coo-er. Well, you certainly are a supporter.

By 'newsletter', I mean that scrappy email I send out from time to time ('bout every 2 months). If you haven't been getting that I will request an explanation from the mailing department. But I've promised not to bother him over the weekends as he is involved with something else so it will have to wait until Monday
