Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
        Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

          Still a-lurking BBM!
(Maybe it was the epithet of "ignorant" that was applied by Bryn to one of my recent posts that has made me keep my head more down than up these days.)

Really happy too, having feared the worst for Pabs. Now we just need to get salymap sorted and back home cooking her braised beef and all will be well.

Thank you all. We're all OK (our house is strong and has only minimal damage - though we lost the mango tree). It was quite an experience (160 mph winds for 5 hours solid).

We still have no electricity (and thus no internet) and this - in a restaurant in the town centre - is the first I've been able to get online since the typhoon.

I'll write more as soon as we're back online.

Great to hear Pabs! Thank goodness! :)

Yes indeed Anna - does anyone know if she's been reading the messages we're sending?

I've been informed by NSA/GCHQ (OK I made that last bit up) that she does indeed read her cuttings service so ... Get well soon salymap, I miss your good humour and even your lists and particularly your PMs and our daily chats. I hope the grub is to your liking and that the doctor has warm hands

Where is Anna just lately? Not posted since Dec 12 which isn't usual. The Stormy Weather thread needs your input, Anna.

                            JLW has been quiet recently.
Hope you are well Jayne, thought of you when I listened to Szymanowski Violin concerto (#1) just now, as your enthusiasm inspired me to seek it out earlier this year.
