Really happy too, having feared the worst for Pabs. Now we just need to get salymap sorted and back home cooking her braised beef and all will be well.

Thank you all. We're all OK (our house is strong and has only minimal damage - though we lost the mango tree). It was quite an experience (160 mph winds for 5 hours solid).
We still have no electricity (and thus no internet) and this - in a restaurant in the town centre - is the first I've been able to get online since the typhoon.
I'll write more as soon as we're back online.

I'm glad to hear that Pabs is OK and hope electricity wil be restored soon. Sending good thoughts and wishes to saly and hoping she's comfortable and on the mend.

JLW has been quiet recently.
Hope you are well Jayne, thought of you when I listened to Szymanowski Violin concerto (#1) just now, as your enthusiasm inspired me to seek it out earlier this year.I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.
