Great fortitude on your part, Maestro. So sorry to hear it was necessary to call upon it just before all the celebrations. Good to hear you feel you're on the mend now

Then I picked up a bug, probably whilst on the floor, waiting for the ambulance. Today is the fist day I’ve felt like “normal”.

I had to call an ambo around 0500 in November.... it came within 15 minutes.... I (literally) crawled to the door to wrestle it open. When we got to A&E around 0600, there were three people waiting in the wide open spaces......
Scanned and examined swiftly, back in the Obs Ward for the second time in a month (own room, en suite bathroom, cushy....perk of no other beds available...) a nurse told me that by 1500, A&E had been temporarily closed for overcrowding....for the second day running....Last edited by jayne lee wilson; 27-12-22, 15:26.
