I am rather fond of Richard Strauss's duet-concertino for Clarinet & Bassoon. Britten's youthful double concerto (Violin & Viola) is another candidate, but I must confess that it doesn't do much for me. Someone mentioned Malcolm Arnold's concerto for 2 violins, and I would add his concerto for piano duet and the concerto for two pianos (three hands), both of which are well worth a good listen.

They had quite a few works written for them after Cyril's stroke.
