End of an era - Sir Alex steps down as manager of UTD
....More UK players than any other Premier League club (possibly more indigenous players than any top club in Europe)....great attitude to youth players....
....I'm sure vinteuil would love an evening in his wine cellar....
Cheer up, Beefy! The grumpy old sot can't go on forever and is now due a hip-replacement. Another talented and younger Scotsman is already waiting in the wings to take over. We all know who he is, and, thankfully, we didn't even have to consult any dictionaries regarding his identity.
It is the end of a remarkable era, though. Sir Alex may be the usual 'champagne socialist' but his record speaks for itself. In terms of achievement, indisputably the greatest manager in the history of the game.

Well all I can say is that I hope it is indeed DM that gets the job. We need another tough, Calvinist-like Scot at the helm - none of that continental modern stuff.
Hope they make an announcement soon. If they don't it'll be anarchy
