Thank you for that, OG,
we've sent the link to the next two generations down who live in Hexham. Superb French restaurant nearby, just out of shot behind the frozen bowling green, called "Bouchon" which can mean "mouth" or "cork" or "traffic jam", I'm told. And, (!), a minor contribution to the "famous people we shared a moment with", Sarfraz Manzoor got on our train from Hexham to Newcastle (possibly having visited in advance of the Hexham Book Festival which is now on).
