Yes, Big Ben too... as the current elective dictatorship goes to even greater lengths of obsessive commemoration they run the slight risk of crossing that thin line between tragedy and comedy... they should have listened to old Gimli, who might have reminded them that, in death, like all of us, Margaret Thatcher still only counts as one...

Yes, but MT's was an elected one-party dictatorship whereas the present "régime" is an uneasy coalition that seems poised to disintegrate into no government at all after the next General Election that cannot come soon enough...
