Too sore to swallow, gamba? My partner was taken into hospital for observation for this (and a 38.4 temperature) on Easter Monday - stressful. Hope you're feeling in the pink by now, too!


And I hope sals is spending time with Margery Allingham whislst she gets better, so she'll be able to resussitate the "Classic Detective Fiction" Thread when she gets back to us.

Thank you, ff. That is what I intended. I see you are from Bristol where I lived for much of my life. [Merrywood Grammar 1954-1960]. I didn't care for the place when I last visited in 1992. All the best.
