    One for you, salymap

I decided that I didn't like my ugly fizzog as my profile picture, so I've changed it.

Salymap will be pleased, even if no-one else is.

Well, I thought I had! Watch this space.

Thanks from salymap - currently nursing a throat infection, but "Backson" as Wol had it

You have a different profile picture. Did you want to change your avatar too (the one we see on the boards themselves)?

Too sore to swallow, gamba? My partner was taken into hospital for observation for this (and a 38.4 temperature) on Easter Monday - stressful. Hope you're feeling in the pink by now, too!

And I hope sals is spending time with Margery Allingham whislst she gets better, so she'll be able to resussitate the "Classic Detective Fiction" Thread when she gets back to us.

                    Hello ff

I decided that I didn't like the photo of myself and tried to change it to a pic of our cairn terrier - which is why salymap would be interested. I changed my profile picture - is the one on the posts an avatar, and if so, please can you tell me how to change to that?

Very sorry to hear about your throat infection, gamba - I hope you're well on the road to recovery - that's a cooling ale

Salymap is taking time off from foR3 while she sorts her throat out but I'll alert her to your message

When I saw your profile pic, I thought that was what you intended as your board avatar. I'll fix it. Never can remember whether you have to resize or not ...

                          Et voilà!

Thank you, ff. That is what I intended. I see you are from Bristol where I lived for much of my life. [Merrywood Grammar 1954-1960]. I didn't care for the place when I last visited in 1992. All the best.
