Tony Hall's interview with John Humphrys this morning was full of breaches of the Law of Reverse Intention, which states that if the exact opposite of a statement is plainly nonsense, then it probably wasn't worth making in the first place. For example - the BBC is full of great people committed to making great programmes, I believe in teamwork and communication etc (the BBC is full of rubbish people with making great programmes being the last thing on their minds, I prefer people not to talk to eachother).
Probably unfair to put him up against JH on day 2, but he ducked the big question of why the people responsible for recent disasters are still in the BBC, merely shuffled about.
