Knowing how much boarders enjoy a quiz, here's a vocabulary test against which to measure oneself. Salutary to note that the age groups with the lowest scores are the under 18s and the 20-30 bracket. FWIW, yours truly scored a paltry 4,080 which I expect to be duly slaughtered by the Forum's brainboxes.

four attempts, and my best was 3760.
Edit :
ooh, ooh, got up to 3860 this time.
However on one question I was very slow and still got a speed bonus of 160......Hmmmmm.......Last edited by teamsaint; 18-03-13, 22:35.I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

No, my main intention in posting the link was - no, not to show off - but to draw attention to the shockingly poor average score for the 20-30s. No, of course the results aren't scientific, but given the mind is meant to be at its supplest, and most agile at that age, this is truly a pisspoor effort. Probably not helped by their complete misuse of words such as "random" and "awesome".
