    Dudamel on front row

    What a delight to hear Maestro Dudamel on tonight's 'Front Row' over on 4 - such sense, such energy, such generosity of spirit - he made me feel happy.
    Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel on his career and the importance of music education.

      Very refreshing.

      El Sistema seems to be based on Socialist principles but when asked if he was a Socialist he repled:- "I'm not a political specialist". Take that as "no"???

          I thought it was based more on christian (specifically catholic) principles? Not saying that's a bad thing, but I don't quite see where socialism comes into it.
