So not a lot of change? He's also in his mid-seventies, so it could be another short-term papacy.

If people care to read my comment, I the Pope Resigns I was saying that i would think the next Pope would be from South America!! Look what happened!! I was thinking that the one from Argentina would be voted in, beciase of his outspoken views of the Vatican Bank. Several Cardinals had applauded his views on this, and that's why i thought it would be him!

Question is: did you bung 50 quid on old Jorge?

                  So - did you?

                  Did y'eck as like!!

                  Ale to the new pope!!

Well, as soon as I read that article in The Daily Telegraph, the reporeter mentioned about the goings on in the Vatican bank, and quite a few Cardinals applauded his views on this, and so i thought ahy(!), could this be our next Papa? And as it turned out well.............

Only the Catholic Church could give the world's bookies and those smart-ass know-all commentators a right pasting!

And Papa Francisco is a Jesuit ...

Ha! Thanks, ER. Actually, it's been mostly Bach and Stravinsky. Unlikely bedfellows, or perhaps not so unlikely?!
