Ah well, long story, as it is bound to be with M3.

Not sure where we got to, but a very generous board member sent me two spares, the Haitink / BPO and the Gielen.
i actually haven't listened to the Gielen complete,( due to sheer weight of CDs) so the jury is still out.

Still like the Bertini as much as any, but it's work in progress. And hoping to hear it live sometime soon, but nothing booked up.

lets hope ER gets his footy fix, and Stockport can persuade a winning manager to sign up.

There's two good Lenny Bs, two Abbados, MTT with LSO, Horenstein, Kubelik and Mehta - 2 Soltis if you like. My weekend will be complete with a convincing tanking of Leeds.

It's a big opportunity now for Leicester with so many big guns struggling or dropping points.
Watch out for Spurs though.

Good to have the bar open on a Sunday again.

Another week beckons at work. I always try to take a day off in January to counteract the post-Christmas gloom and went out with friends last Friday. Got no concerts in the pipeline. I've been through the literature but nothing has really stood out for me as a must go and while that's unusual it's not unknown.

Had two winners again on Saturday. It pays to go on anything Richard Johnson rides if anyone wants any tips! Had at least one winner every Saturday bar one since October 31 so need to keep that particular wagon rolling.

Good manager. Might just be capable of pulling off a surprise. Very good at instilling belief in his younger players.

Not the most lovable character, but being lovable never won anybody the league.

Spurs will have a lack of pressure compared to city and Arsenal for the rest of the season, which will be a big help.

Friendly handyman arriving at 8 tomorrow with a list of jobs to do for me.
First off, plaster the gaping holes in the en suite and family bathroom ceilings, made when new extractor fans were fitted last November! Currently covered with plastic bags held on with Blu-Tack!

Evening all Sunday nighters,hope you are well.
Currently off work, which is good, but for health reasons,which is bad.
My GP recently decided there may be something a bit awry in the heart department.Could be angina or something a bit nastier, numerous tests and appointments with cardiologist done and to come.
So rest at the moment, short walks,missing hikes With the dogs which is now my son's job.
Hopefully my case for early retirement will be looked on favourably now.

Enough, don't want to bore you all.
