I am fast approaching 57 and with over 30 years service I could take early retirement too.
Here's hoping, although I've been down this road before and been turned down.
Good evening all Sunday nighters btw.
Hi all.
Good luck with the voluntary redundancy thing ER. Sounds like you need to do a worse job, and get yourself selected for a nice big payoff !
3 long weekends in a row coming up.I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

Got a similar 'light April' myself - going to be pottering around northern France in the motor between 20th April and the end of the month...

Evening all, rather late tonight and virtually last orders already.
Have we all been in an Elgar 2 mood? I look forward to the younger generation of conductors taking on this mighty work.
How come Sir Simon hasn't delivered the performance of our dreams? Perhaps he will with the LSO one day.
