It's a big decision to take and hope that all are going for it 100% without any doubts. An aunt and uncle sold their house and emigrated to Australia in 1988. My aunt was terribly homesick for months and as time has marched on has missed out on family births and deaths etc. Couldn't do it myself. Our weather may be rubbish but still couldn't do it.

Not sure it's a step I could take.
He and his wife have had this dream for a few years.
They are even taking their three dogs,you wouldn't believe the cost and hassle involved.
Their two daughters,both early 20's will be joining them later this year.

First one in the snug again this Sunday evening. Well, that was the week that was. Another year older, whether another year wiser is open to debate, a big stash of CDs to catch up on and a little bit of cash richer from getting third in the Derby. Hope all went well with ER's relatives on the way to NZ and trust all other Sunday nighters are in fine fettle.

Got friends going to Sandown next weekend. Any tips, Alison?

Just a quick half for me tonight, and I am up at silly o'clock to drive to Cornwall for work. Week should quieten down after that hopefully, might pop out to a chamber concert (piano trios)on Saturday night in Salisbury.

Yup I'll deffo be back for the footy saturday night. Unbelievably, I am going to miss the Uruguay game, as I have a ticket for A Bruckner /Mozart gig in London that night, organised long ago.

Never been to Sandown, even though its on my doorstep really. TBF, racing still represents a decent value day out,as long as you can manage your bets properly !!

Still hope for our boys in Brazil, but need that win on Thursday. I'll be missing it, due to having tix to some Bruckner and Mozart in London !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Perhaps their luck will turn.

All good things come to an end. I know I usually never bet on the footy but before the tournament started I placed a bet on Spain to win the World Cup. Not looking so clever right now. I took the price of 13/2 but see latest being offered is 12/1

Today would have been my late father's 95th birthday, and it so often ended up being on Father's Day as this year. Meals out for his birthday used to be pretty expensive as restaurants hike their prices on significant days in the calendar.
