what a pity you Sunday nighters weren't at my Works do on Friday. We could have played some cool music (possibly) and nattered about music over a friendly drink.
Anyhow, my works do wasn't too bad, they are mostly a young and friendly crowd, but not my first choice of night out. The company have given us a day and a half extra hols over xmas, so its not a bad price to pay.I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

Annual carol service done for another year.
It's a tradition I started in the early nineties: that is to listen to Mahlers Seventh on the evening of the Sunday before Christmas. This year the honoured performers were Michael Gielen and his Baden Baden orchestra.
I don't know if you have any odd quirks like this?!
