At least Silvestrov has only written 7 so far.

He is on my catch up list.
as you say, with so much else.

There must be a way of fitting it all in........

Not yet ts.
I note down every Symphony on sc's list,trouble is the list gets bigger quicker than I can listen.
Also I tend to go off on tangents,eg Miaskovsky and Weinberg quartets and sonatas,and there seem to be trillions of 'em.
Apparently there's a Silvestrov violin sonata or some such that lasts 70 minutes !!!!!

Successfully tackled a broadband issue of my own, vanished cat found and just a little sunbathing bring me to yet another Sunday evening.

Enjoyed the Ades Prom this afternoon.

Glad you've resolved your broadband issue; mine is still rumbling on (intermittent internet loss - see Techie Board) but has been much more stable today. Perhaps the hot weather affected it after all.

A full week at work then down for the Proms at the weekend (Sunday) and Monday. Promised to give my sister and niece an all expenses paid weekend in London and we are going on August 31. I haven't acted the tourist for many years so looking forward to it. Could do with a nice win on the horses before then to pay for it!

No cash windfalls on the nags for boarders this week. Change to softer going may offer some long odds surprises this week?
