Cloughie seems to have excellent knowledge of pop music. Suspect there could be a Ken Dodd album or two among the ASDs and SXLs!
I take a greater interest the whole of football when Leicester win, know what I mean?
Awaiting delivery of the Arnold Cooke disc recommended by Rob.
Cloughers also seems to have a detailed knowledge of steam locomotives which has led me to discover that Edmund Rubbra's brother was a famous designer of aero engines .....

Thanks for flagging up that concert, I'm keen to hear that.Daughter did some work with Kenneth Hesketh at Uni. She was very impressed with him, and said he was a lovely bloke too. Hope you enjoy the concert.

Sorry to disappoint - no Dodd LPs - My reference to his tracks comes from his annoying habit of cluttering the No 1 spot for weeks back in the mid 60s.

That is disappointing! I took the trouble to sample his hits on I tunes. Not much of a voice really.
Re Ken Dodd - we watched the last episode of the latest Attenborough series earlier this evening and I remarked that delivering his closing address perched windswept atop the London shard with ample hair waving free David A looked a bit like Ken Dodd.
Bit of gardening in the morning, and might take a trip to a NT place in the afternoon. Took out membership last month as I am on the verge of cutting back my working hours ( a bit) so should have a bit more time for self improvement.
Shouldn't be difficult......
