I've copied the various racing-based posts from Sunday Night chat to the Racing Thread - copied, mind, not moved, so that the former remains intact."...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

I'm not sure if he had a particular aversion to it or didn't rate it but it's still odd. Bruckner 9 for me when things get on top of one.
I honestly believe that RVW's music keeps me sane.

No brickbats from me,I suppose people get something out of this music or they don't,I find it very rewarding.
I've heard the symphonies described as cliched and cheesy many times,I just don't hear it.

Have you seen the price of an of peak travel card now?!
Anyway, I have a project too if the syndicate comes up trumps....I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.
