I don't know, but I would doubt it. Herons have fearsome beaks or bills (I'm not an expert). In January I posted some heron pictures which I took a few years ago. Here's the link.

Stormy Weather's easy - just a comment on the weather plus whatever else is of interest, or comment on someone else's comments. I don't join in very often, but it's very easy to do so.

Even though the heron was dropping them back into the water it seemed to manage to catch them again, unless it was a different one each time, but I don't think it was. Mangerton's right - their beaks are fierce.

I find the website annoying - its one of those where there one can jump all over the place. I prefer a strict hierarchical "tree" (there's probably a psychological explanation).

BBM - one of the most identifiable traits (or, if you prefer, annoying habits) of France Musique presenters is that they might spend 12 minutes discussing Stravinsky's "Greeting Prelude" prior to playing a recording of it, but it's probably a useful way of polishing up the language skills.
