        Huh?

Actually, I know what you mean, but you are wrong. I'm entitled to a view on this, that's all there is to it

I think he just mentioned somebody he'd heard of.

It's depressing when they get them wrong, but as long as I get them right I'm not too bothered. In general, they know much more about much more than I did at their age.

Musical illiteracy apart, good to have UC back. (But Quizzy Monday.....yuk) Thought the Peterhouse team-leader superbly cool, calm, collected and calculating.

                      - exactly what I thought, too. (Even the chirpy announcer sounded embarrassed!)

But the most impressive guy from Riga blew them all (inc. Paxo) out of the water by delivering the Russian name for 'Firebird' in his correct answer to a later question!

                          - yes, and he seemed even to be translating the title for himself, as if he'd never heard the English version before.

were they just a bit Flaky?

perhaps when it came to the crunch they made a dogs breakfast of it.

Edit: aren't we supposed to be listening to the Proms?

Edit:Did they get their starters right? ( I know, wrong meal, obviously, but an open goal)....

                                They certainly weren't grrrrrrrrreat!

One of the opposing team from Christ's College, Cambridge is called Kitchen. Rather enjoying the call from the bloke who announces who's rung:

                                "Christ's Kitchen!"

                                Sounds like a Batman exclamation...
