I would just like to declare my love of a great deal of modernist and experimental music is by no means undermined by the fact that Beef Oven shares some of my own tastes...
I would just like to say that any association between me and the superior being S_A is most unfortunate and is in no way to be used to lower his rating, stock, social standing etc. This view is endorsed by the recent self-congratulatory back-slaps from other superiors like Pab & 8thobstruction

Please, Beefy, have a back-slap from me as well...for a good post
That is not what I wrote, nor may it be concluded therefrom; even if we agree for the time being to draw a veil (sorry!) over any exception of Muslims in this issue, however, the point still stands that there is no hard and fast evidence - or at least none that has been submitted here for consideration - that among subscribers to religious groups the majority view is against SSM and, in any case, no consideration has been given to the possibility of changes of viewpoint within such groups arising from increasing legal endorsement and social acceptability of SSM.

Which side is that, then - and who decides or has decided this - FF?
The hole is not mine and, whilst you may be looking into it with determination, it was not created by you either. Personally, I wouldn't waste a spade on it. You might care to answer the points that I made, however (albeit originally in response to Mr Pee rather than you).
I do not feel strongly on this matter, but it is obvious that it will make some same-sex partners very happy and cannot see any harm in giving them the option of achieving this happiness and letting them get on with it.
PS As well as lowering the tone around here, hysterical, jarring, foul-mouthed rants detract from any argument being put forward and deter me from getting involved.

Endorsed.
The "side" that FF is on is that of reasoned, polite debate, whatever the opinion. No smart alec jibes - from any "side".
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.
