And if Scotland defeat France, then God's in His Heaven and All is Right in the Word!
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."
Shock, state of, is what I am in, a shocking state (and having had a cooked lunch in anticipation will lay out a tapas style feast for Scotland v France)
There will be dancing in the Valleys- and Beacons lit in the Brecons, oh yes, no doubt there will be.
Actually, it's only a game, bit like football, who really cares who wins?
Edit: That was sort of quasi rhetorical, as you know. Of course it matters, but I pretend it doesn't
, which is why I did not gloat over the English abject defeat.

The sponsors.
I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.
Cardiff will be a splendid place to be tonight. In my youth I used to go to the Arms Park, as was, quite frequently and I was always tremendously chuffed by the all-embracing welcoming atmosphere in the pubs, even when Wales lost. This never seemed to be translated to the pubs around Twickenham in my experience.

Reason: shocking syntax

Well, there'll be no dancing in Dundee - or anywhere else in Scotland - tonight. Still, it was an enjoyable game.
Great result for Wales, though. Well done. I hope you enjoyed the tapas.

it is a deeply humiliating thrashing by Wales on a par with the worst beatings delivered to England by Wales in my younger days ...
Not sure when your younger days were Calum but in 1968 it was 30-9, 1979 was 27-3, it was also 30-3 in 1881 but I don't think you're that old! Deeply humiliating as you say but they are a young, inexperienced team and the atmosphere in the Stadium, particularly with the roof closed, can be very intimidating and perhaps nerves played a part. I cannot remember a match of such intensity and physicality and intend to watch it again on iplayer as it was so tense yesterday I really couldn't enjoy it. Shall watch Scrum V later on today to see what the pundits have to say.
Scotland have continued to improve so much as have Italy. I cannot say it's been the best 6N in terms of good, flowing, rugby being played but it's certainly been one of the most interesting. What now for Ireland as Declan Kidney's contract is up for renewal and as for France - one never knows!
SPOT THE WELSHMAN !!! (sorry ...... could not resist )
Well, you're quite right! If you get any snash from the English in our midst, just remind them that there was some sporting competition in 1966 that we've never heard the last of.
It's been 23 years since Scotland won the Championship.

Revealed: the photographer who took that picture:
