And just over halfway across page 7 of the composer ms. full score of the work I can just macchiato passage marked "espresso", although it is unclear whether the intention is le double as in his Second Symphony...

Methinks that it may be time to return to the subject of piano trios, of which sadly Dutilleux has yet to compose any and I very much fear that he's unlikely to do so now.
