Note the first paragraph in http://connexionfrance.com/Cameron-E...w-article.html in which the French are seeking to offer an open-door olive branch to Brit companies to relocate, in direct response to Cameron's speech; this sits rather amusingly (or perhaps worryingly, depending on your viewpoint) alongside Cameron's own pledge in the opposite direction as reported at http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisf...nch-tax-exiles and indeed gives a whole new meaning to the in-out-in-out-shake-it-all-about jibe, n'est-ce pas? In this instance, however, it is those French who think this way that are making fools of themselves and Dave that's got it right, as demonstrated by the background to his invitation to French businesses to relocate to UK as a tax haven (well, at least as a lower tax régime than where they are now, which indeed it most certainly is).
